Peacefully, in the Edinburgh Royal Infirmary, on July 3 2026, Kate, beloved wife of the late Allan, much loved mum to Heidi, Tommy, John and Rebekah and a wonderful granny to her 11 grandchildren. A service of thanksgiving for Kate’s life will take place on Monday, July 27 at 12.30pm, in St Cuthbert’s Episcopal Church, Colinton, Edinburgh, to which all are warmly invited. A collection to be taken in aid of Friends of Easter Craiglockhart Hill after the service.

I\'m so sorry to hear of Kate\'s passing. I\'ve really loved getting to know her through my yoga classes, and I\'ll truly miss her.
I\'m so sorry that I can\'t make the funeral, but I\'ll be thinking of Kate and all of her family on the day.
